 We leave from Sapokka in Kotka with seaworthy and spacious Korsö 1100 P fishing boat towards salmon trolling area south of Haapasaari.
The silhouette of Suursaari on the Russian side of the border with peaks of over 100 meters high offers nice views while we move around the best salmon spots. The highest point of Suursaari is 176 meters above the sea level.
We troll for salmon for about four hours, after which it is possible to visit Haapasaari fisher village and one of the smallest convenience stores in Finland.
We return to our home port in Sapokka or to nearby beautiful Meriniemi seafood restaurant where you can enjoy delicious dinner sharing memories and fishing stories after the trip.

We recommend warm outdoor clothing and shoes matching the weather. Onboard we have floatation suits or jackets for everyone and also rubber boots if needed.

Price includes all needed fishing tackle and baits. Alcoholic drinks by consumption and state fishing permit is added to the final bill.
For extra cost we can offer a seafood meal, visit to salmon hook-trap near Haapasaari and all kinds of souvenirs including fishing hats, "kuksa" cups, garments, fishing equipment etc.
