Island's diverse nature, nature trail going around the island and various activities guarantee you a trip that relaxes, activates and brings you together.

We start our one-day trip from Tervasaari in Hamina at 10.30am. From there we move to Rankinkotka Island safely with seaworthy boats. Crossing takes about 50 minutes. On arrival we have a welcoming ceremony including also a short introduction of the island and its services. On request, we can also offer a small snack and coffee before starting to explore the activities available.

So what are those activities then? We offer guided hike around the nature trail, forest golf in the alder grove, fun small competitions at the Elmolandia. Sports could include for example shooting with slingshots, bow and arrow or air guns. A darts competition could also be fun (or brutally serious depending on the crowd).

We also have a bird watching tower on the island. From the tower you get a scenic view of the southern bay of the island and its wetlands. When the weather is clear, you can see the mystical Suursaari far in the horizon. On May you can follow one of the most magnificent happenings Finland's nature has to offer - the massive migration of arctic birds. Migration is surely something to see in the autumn also. Fishing is possible with all kinds of tackle, both from the shore and on the sea.

When the day turns to evening, we recommend a refreshing dip in the sea and then relaxing heat of the seashore sauna. Or (for extra cost) you can try the unique "rock smoke sauna". After that it is time for our delicious island dinner.

Menu 1)
Delicious cheese-vegetable soup, for main course freshly caught and smoked or grilled fish, lingonberry or tartar sauce, poached vegetables, salad, potatoes and newly baked bread.

Menu 2)
Island's fish soup from the day's catch, newly baked bread and a sweet treat.

Drinks with food: water (for extra cost beer, cider, wine, shots, brandy or liqueur).
For dessert: camp fire cooked coffee
