Trolling trip to Rakinkotka

We gather at Vimpasaari and prepare for crossing to Rakinkotka. Depending on the vessel, travel time is 15-50 minutes. So anchors away!

We leave any unnecessary luggage at the Rakinkotka fisher village and head towards fishing spots. After reaching the waters of outer archipelago, we grab our rods and lures and hope for tight lines.

After our return to Rakinkotka, we enjoy sandwiches and camp fire coffee at the lean-on. If we've had some fisherman's luck we can also taste our self-caught fish. Before returning to mainland it's possible to hike around the beautiful nature trail of the island, spot birds or play forest golf in the alder grove.

Recommended clothing:

We recommend warm and when necessary water proof clothing. We provide floatation suits, rubber boots and gloves.

Please, ask price. Minimum charge is for 5 persons. Price includes insurance, in addition to services mentioned above.

  • Visiting the salmon trap
  • Long line fishing for salmon, maximum group size 12 persons, duration 6-7 hours
  • Souvenirs according to separate price list: fishing hats, "kuksa" cups, garments, fishing equipment etc.
  • Transport by helicopter to the Rakinkotka helicopter platform
