One-day meeting in Vimpasaari and Rakinkotka

At Activity
11.30 We arrive at Vimpasaari by car. Welcome speech and explanation of day's agenda.
12.00 Lunch in the Laplander's hut. We recommend our delicious fish soup cooked on open fire served with newly baked bread.
12.30 Meeting starts. Our conference room has whiteboard and both overhead and data projectors with screen.
14.00 Afternoon coffee with homemade coffee bread.
16.00 Meeting ends. Change of clothing.
16.30 We take a boat trip to Rakinkotka. Travel time is 15-40 minutes depending on the route chosen. Floatation jackets or suits and rubber boots (if needed) are provided by us. We recommend outdoor clothing that suits the weather and outdoor shoes for hiking at the island. On arrival we can check if our fish traps or nets have brought us catch and prepare fish for snacks. On the island it's possible to fish using a spinning rod, play forest golf, spot birds from our bird tower or hike around the 1,5 km long nature trail. You can also take a moment of quietness at the 250-year old quarry.
18.00 Return to Vimpasaari. On request both saunas are pre-heated and ready to use.
19.30 Dinner in the Laplander's hut. We recommend grilled or smoked fish, campfire cooked potatoes and our delicious tartar sauce with bread and salad. For dessert we offer Finnish squeaky cheese and cloudberry jam. Coffee and coffee bread.
22.00 Programme ends.
